Does your divorce lawyer have to be local?

The answer is it depends.  While a lot of people believe that the divorce lawyer needs to be local, in fact, it's not necessary. Many clients are comfortable with the idea of making an online search for a divorce lawyer and finding one in their area. While you want to make sure that your divorce attorney is experienced, you do not need to limit yourself to a local divorce attorney.
